PANKEL [sic]-GRIMES - At the home of the groom's father in this city, Thursday evening, December 24, Mr. Ernest D. Pankey and Miss Effie Grimes were united in marriage, Rev. T. M. Jones performing the ceremony. Both the parties are well and favorably known here, Mr. Pankey being one of this valley's best ball pitchers, while Miss Grimes was a most charming and popular young lady. Only a few of the immediate relatives of the couple were present to witness the interesting ceremony, which was following by a most tempting wedding dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Pankey will reside in Central Point. - Herald.
