Smith. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Venable of Jacksonville, has lived there practically all her life, and has many friends in Medford where she worked in the telephone office for a time. Mr. Smith was formerly a steward of a prominent Chicago hotel and met his wife at Crater Lake, where he was engaged as chef. Congratulations and good wishes are extended to the newlyweds.
