THOMPSON Miss Bessie Edna McKray, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McKray, and Mr. Lewis Thompson, son of Mrs. Nettie L. Thompson, were married Sunday afternoon, June 14th, at the First Christian church, in the presence of members of the two families, and a number of friends. To the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Georgianna Hussong, the bridal party advanced to an altar decorated with baskets of flowers in a color scheme of pink and blue, where Rev. W. R. Baird performed the beautiful and impressive ring ceremony. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a becoming gown of white crepe. Her tulle veil was fitted into a cap shape with a bandeau of lace, and she carried a bouquet of pink and white sweetpeas. Her bridesmaid, Miss Edna Hildebrand, wore a gown of pale apricot and white crepe, and a corsage bouquet of sweetpeas. Mr. P. R. Bateman acted as best man. Following the ceremony, an informal reception was held at the home of the bride's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. P. R. Bateman for members of the bridal party and immediate friends, After the reception, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson left for Klamath Falls where they will make their home.
