M. Gibson, and S. B. Whittle, of Ashland, Rev. C. M. Bryan, of Jacksonville, officiating. The family and a few immediate friends witnessed the ceremony which took place at 8 o'clock a.m., after which a sumptuous breakfast was served, Mr. and Mrs. Whittle leaving for Ashland, their future home, on the morning train. Miss Gibson is well and favorably known in our city as one of our best business ladies, having been employed as operator for the Pacific Postal Company for several years. Mr. Whittle is a native of Baltimore, Md., and has been in the employ of the same company for some time. The many friends of the happy couple join in wishing them a long, happy and prosperous future.
