Friends of Arthur C. Kent, former Medford student, will be interested in 
details of his recent wedding to Miss Helen Mercaldo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
H. Mercaldo of Jersey City, N. J. Mr. Kent is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. 
Kent, now of Ashland. The Mercaldo-Kent rites took place May 20 in a navy 
chapel in New York City. The bride’s wedding costume was a dressmaker suit of 
pastel yellow, worn with white accessories and a corsage of white flowers. Mr. 
and Mrs. Kent are now living in Princeton, New Jersey, the groom being 
currently stationed there with the navy. For the past year Mr. Kent, yeoman in 
the navy, has been stationed at Brooklyn. The groom has many friends, both 
here and in Ashland. He has been serving with the navy since his graduation 
from Ashland high school in the spring of 1941.
