There was a quiet little wedding out at the farm home of Wm. Owens, on Monday 
of this week, upon which date his daughter, Miss Lydia E. Owens, and Mr. A. R. 
Brown, of Dalles, Ore., were joined in happy wedlock by A. S. Jacobs, justice 
of the peace, of Central Point. Only relatives and a few invited friends were 
present. After the ceremony a splendid dinner was served. The happy couple are 
now out at Crater lake enjoying a few weeks’ outing. Upon their return they 
will go to Dalles, where they will make their future home, Mr. Brown being a 
prosperous farmer near that place.
