Mr. Al Turpin and Miss Zoe Payne were united in marriage last Sunday evening at the home of C. R. Helmroth on Big Sticky. At 6:15 the wedding march announced the readiness of the parties to be made one, and the echoes of the music had scarcely died away when W. B. Moore, pastor of the M. E. Church, pronounced them husband and wife. After congratulations the company repaired to the dining room where an excellent dinner was served. Mr. Turpin is a young man of excellent character and his bride is in every way worthy of the esteem she has won by her culture and refinement. They will make their home in Southern Oregon, and we bespeak for them a happy future.
