Father Berthiaume officiating. John Orth, of Jacksonville, and Miss Marguerite Olwell, of Central Point, acted as groomsman and bridesmaid, who performed their functions very acceptably. After the wedding the party proceeded to the U. S. Hotel, where a sumptuous repast was enjoyed. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. A. R. Phipps, of Medford, and is a highly respected young lady. The groom has been a resident of Medford for several mos, having moved here from Minneapolis with his parents about a year ago. He is a very intelligent and energetic young man of exemplary habits. The young couple left on Tuesday evening’s train for Buffalo, N. Y., where Mr. Spellman will engage in business. The best wishes of many friends go with them.
