L. Jones, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jones, of Beagle, and Miss Winnie Rodgers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Rodgers, were married at the home of the bride’s parents at this place, Tuesday, April 10th, at 12 o’clock. The destiny of the happy couple was linked by Elder A. J. Davis in the presence of quite a number of relatives and friends. The bride was very nicely dressed and looked quite charming in the eyes of her admiring friends. After the ceremony dinner was announced and the wedding party was served with a sumptuous feast. Nothing was lacking on this occasion to give a lasting impression on the minds of all present. The young couple will make their future home at Gold Hill. They have the best wishes of their many friends for their future prosperity. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Houston, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Rodgers, Mrs. J. B. Rodgers, Mrs. Flora Carter, Misses Lillie, Myrtie and Lulu Rodgers, Florence Houston, Messrs. Frank, Howard and Oscar Rodgers, Thos. Jones, Alma and Forrest Houston.
