William Mitchell, between Mrs. E. J. Rogers of Carmenellis, Mr. Redruth, Cornwall, England, and Mr. J. S. Rogers, of Hutton, California. The bride was dressed in a pale blue silk dress, trimmed in braid to match, she wore a large white picture hat and a large ostrich plume, and was attended by her two sons, Mr. Montague Rogers and Mr. Richard Rogers. Mr. Montage [sic] Rogers gave her away, and Mr. Richard Rogers acted as best man. The maids of honor were Mrs. Thomas Morcan, and Mrs. R. Rogers. A grand reception was held in the evening at 22 Main street, where a sumptuous supper was provided and the table was prettily decorated in American Beauties and ferns. The presents were numerous and costly and the evening was passed merrily with music and singing among a great number of guests. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers will remain in Butte a few weeks, then will proceed to California where they will make their home.
