E. Sherrill, of Hood River, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by L. C. Wilson, of Grants Pass. The ceremony was performed at high noon in the presence of numerous friends and relatives. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Smidtline, and has a number of friends here who wish her all possible happiness. Mr. Sherrill was formerly a resident of this place, but is now located at Hood River, Wasco County, and is engaged in the furniture business there. On Thursday evening, before the happy couple departed for their future home, their friends tendered them a reception in the parlors of the Wilcox hotel. A delicate luncheon was served at midnight and all departed soon after, each assuring the other that the evening had been passed in the most delightful manner.
