W. Carpenter in Ashland, occurred a very pretty and quiet wedding in the marriage of Jesse M. Taylor and Laura Thomas, Rev. W. T. Van Scoy performing the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Taylor, father of the groom, his sister, Mr. Anderson and family of Jacksonville, were the only guests present. The wedded pair are well known in the vicinity of Medford and in the Applegate country. Mr. Taylor was educated in the public schools, the Medford academy and Ashland normal school, and the bride received her schooling in Montana. The happy couple will go north for a short honeymoon, and soon after returning will go to housekeeping on a farm near Ruch, where Mr. Taylor will follow his chosen occupation. A host of young friends wish for this couple all the happiness that can be crowded into two young lives.
