Last Sunday evening, at the residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Weaver, there were joined in the bonds of Housewife Mr. Homer H. Harvey and Miss Lillian E. Weaver, Rev. W. B. Moore, pastor of the M. E. Church, officiating. At six o’clock the bride and groom entered the pleasant parlors and were greeted by friends and relatives. After a short address by Rev. Moore the vow which made them one forever was taken. Congratulations followed and after this all had the pleasure of partaking of a very tasteful serving of all the dainties which go with a wedding dinner. A number of useful, as well as ornamental, presents were given the bride by relatives and friends, and accompanying each were the best wishes for success and happiness. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey are now stopping with Mrs. Harvey’s parents, but they will commence housekeeping in Medford as soon as a suitable residence can be secured. Of these young people there cannot be too much said that is commendatory. They are two of the finest people in the whole land. Both have been long residents of the town and everybody is their friend. The groom is an industrious, honorable and most exemplary young man, while the bride is his equal in every respect and a lady who will prove a helpmate and companion of which the best man on American soil might well be proud. The Mail is extending its heartiest congratulations and is hoping that the rugged path of life, over the uneven places of which so many have stumbled, may be smoothed to them and that the sunshine of many happy years as now photographed by them may never be dimmed.
