SWINDEN, Nellie, Grant's Pass (Oregon) Daily Courier, Friday, 14
Sep 1934, p. 1   Nellie Swinden Passes At Home   Funeral services
for Nellie Swinden, 70, will be held at L. B. Hall's chapel at 3 p.m.
Saturday with Rev. John Brown of the Full Gospel church
officiating. Interment will be in the Granite Hill cemetery.

Born January 12, 1864, at Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Swinden died at
the age of 70 years, eight months and one day. She is survived by
one son, C. A. Brown of Grant's Pass and one daughter, Mrs. H. E.
Nodine of Selma.

For a number of years, Mrs. Swinden lived at Talent, coming to
Grant's Pass about seven years ago. She was the widow of William
Swinden, who died a few years ago.
