H. Swinden, 811 Josephine street, Grant's Pass, will be held at the Christian church tomorrow, Thursday afternoon, at 1 o'clock. Interment at the Missouri Flat cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Grant's Pass (Oregon) Daily Courier, Saturday, 25 Aug 1923, p. 5 OBITUARY Mrs. Kate Swinden Waldron was born in Gold Hill, Jackson County, Oregon, April 9, 1867. She died in Grant's Pass, Oregon, August 21, 1923, at the age of 56 years, 4 months and 12 days. A few weeks ago she sent for a minister, confessed her faith in God, and was baptized by Rev. Knotts of the Newman M. E. church. Through all her illness, she was patient and uncomplaining, and deeply grateful for every kindness she received. She died believing and trusting her Saviour. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Thelma Elford of Oregon City; five sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Mollie Johnson and Mrs. Georgia Mansfield, of Grant's Pass; Mrs. Ollie Standley, of Port Stanley, Wash.; Mrs. Rhoda Stall and Mrs. Agnes Graham, of Los Angeles; Messrs. W. H. and C. L. Swinden, of Grant's Pass, and Edward Swinden, of Murphy.
