Frank Albert Badker, 82, of Klamath Falls, died Dec. 9, 1993 in Klamath Falls, 
Oregon. Frank was born March 14, 1911 at Gary, Deuel, South Dakota, one of 
eleven children of Frank Joseph and Etta Martha (Carothers) Badker. 

He enlisted March 11, 1942 and served in the Army Air Corps during World War 
II and was honorably discharged Nov. 16, 1945. Frank married Virginia Hodge on 
December 18, 1942 as Tlaxcala, Tijuana, Mexico. They had 3 daughters and a 
son. Virginia Hodge was born May 15, 1910 at Ranger Lake, Lea, New Mexico and 
preceded Frank in death on September 5, 1967.  A daughter, Janie Ray Badker 
who was stillborn July 30, 1951 also preceded Frank's passing. 

He was chosen in a drawing to receive a homestead in Newell in 1949. He farmed 
this area for several years. Mr. Badker loved to hunt and fish. He also 
enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 
Surviving are his 2 daughters and sons-in-law; a son and daughter-in-law; 8 
grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Emma Dean Block, Monrovia, 
Calif.; brothers, Jim, Minneapolis, and John, Mitchell, South Dakota; and 
numerous other relatives.

Found Frank in the 1920 census at Clear Lake, Deuel, South Dakota: Frank J 
Badker 40, Etta Badker 37, Helen Badker 15, Louis Badker 13, Emadine (Emma 
Dean) Badker 12, Margaret Badker 10, Frankie Badker 7, John Badker 3 yrs, 5 
mos., William Badker 8 mos.

Found next in the 1930 census at Ortonville, Big Stone, MN: Frank Bodker 50, 
Etta Bodker 46, Helen Bodker 25, George Bodker 24, Enmdson (Emma Dean) Bodker 
22, Margaret Bodker 20, Frank Bodker 17, John Bodker 12, William Bodker 11, 
Jacques (James) Bodker 10, Carles (Charles Dale) Bodker 8, Wallis Bodker 
(should be Walter Harold Hagan) 5 months (his mother was Margaret) 

Found in the 1945 census at Sarasota, Florida with his wife Virginia.

Frank Albert Badker and his wife Virginia Hodge Badker are both buried at 
Klamath Falls, Oregon.
