Morning Oregonian September 9, 1904
Corvallis,Or.,Sept.8(Special0- The dwelling house and contents of Ed Cline was 
burned to the ground last night. In addition to the household furniture and 
clothing a quantity of cascara bar,representing a Summer's work by members of 
the family,went up in smoke,nothing being saved,from the building. 
The loss on the building is estimated at about $800,with little insurance.
