Eigene,Or.Oct.14.-(Special)- Mr. Elizabeth J.Bradley Lackey died at her home 
this morning after a long illness from chronic bronchial troubles.
Mrs. Lackey was bornin Sangamon County, Illinois, near Springfield,65 year ago 
December 4 last.She came across the plains in 1852, settling in Douglas 
County, but she has lived for the last 25 years in Lane County.While coming to 
this state the party's team gave out and died, and Mrs. Lackey, togther with 
many others,walked  agreater part of the distance across the plains. Her 
husband, G.W.Lackey,two daughters, Mrs. Ada B.millican of Tacoma,Washington 
and Mrs. O.I.Busey, of Garfield,Washington, and one sister, Mrs. Frank M.Good 
of Clebeland,Douglas County,Oregon,survive her.
