ANDREW McCORNACK Eugene, June 30 - Mrs. Andrew McCornack, one of the best-known pioneer women in the vicinity, died suddenly at her home this morning from apoplexy. She was 78 years of age, and crossed the plains to Washington in 1853, and in 1858 came to Lane County. She was married in 1842 to Andrew McCornack, who died in 1872. She was the mother of 12 children, all of whom are living, as follows: W.R. McCornack, of Florence; E.A. McCornack, of Eugene; Dr. W.A. McCornack, of Mendocino, Cal.; E.P. McCornack, of Salem; Dr. H. F. McCornack, Mrs. J.G. Stevenson, Mrs. C.M. Collier, and Miss Mary McCornack, of Eugene; Mrs. Dr. E. P. Geary, of Portland; John McCornack, of Palouse, Wash.; Mrs. F.A. Wells, of San Francisco, and Frank H. McCornack, of Klamath Falls.
