MRS. SARAH MILLER DIED IN OROVILLE

Mrs. Sarah Miller, of this place, who was taken to the Oroville hospital for
treatment Sunday afternoon, died at institution Monday morning at 8:30.  Mrs.
Miller had been suffering from an obstruction of the alimentary tract and was
taken to Oroville for an operation.  She was in such bad condition when she
arrived, however, nothing more could be done and she died Monday morning as
stated.

Mrs. Miller lived at the home of her son, J. L. Miller, of this place, but 
for a Number of years had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. W. F. Randolph.
She was a native of Missouri, aged 67 years.

Besides J. L. Miller, E. C. Miller and Mrs. Randolph, who are known here, the
deceased leaves six other sons and daughters.

The body was sent to Oregon for burial on the Oregon Express Tuesday morning.
E. C. Miller accompanied the remains.  The funeral occurs at Eugene, Oregon,
and will be under the auspices of the Women' Relief Corps.
