OREGON-Marriage Certificate
This is to certify that the undersigned a Minister of the Gospel by authority 
of a license bearing date the 8 day of Febr AD 1893 and issued by the county 
clerk of the county of Lane did on the 9 day of Feby AD 1893 at the house of 
officiating minister in the county and state of aforesaid, join in lawful 
wedlock George L. DIESS of the county of Lane and State of ORegon and Laura A. 
IVEY of the county of Lane and State of Oregon with their mutual assent.   NB 
Alley minister of the gospel   In the presence of  IN DOAK and KL DIESS

Additional Comments:

Katharine Loretta DIESS is the KL DIESS listed as a witness to the amrriage.
Known as Katie she was the sister of George Lewis DIESS the groom. She would 
later marry Isaac Newton DOAK.
I.N.DOAK the other witness was Isaac Newton DOAK, the soon to be husband of 
the groom George Lewis DIESS sister, Katharine (Katie) DIESS. 
Laura's middle name was Adeline. 
George Lewis DIESS and Laura Adeline IVEY were my great grandparents.
