B. DONACA Lebanon, Or. Nov. 5 W. B. Donaca, one of the most prominent and highly respected pioneers of this section died at his home in this city last evening, aged 67 years and six months. He was born in Knox County, Illinois, May 4, 1836, and came to Oregon in 1852, locating in Marion county, where he lived for 18 years, with the exception of one year spent in the California gold fields. He came to Lebanon in 1864 and was in business in this place for about 25 years. He held several positions of trust in the community, and was noted for honesty and liberality in dealing with his fellowmen. He left a wife and five sons and one daughter - John Donaca, of Albany; Mrs. O.D. Oliver, Misses W.H. Donaca, C.W. Donaca and Mattie Donaca, of Portland, and F. K. Donaca, of Lebanon. Mr. Donaca was a member of the Masonic Lodge in this place for over 30 years.
