John V. Glaser Dies at Age 82
   Funeral services for John V. Glaser, 82, 
1920 Front St., will be held Monday in the 
Fortmiller Frederickson Chapel at 2 p.m. (PDT).
He died Tuesday in a local nursing home.
   The Rev. Hugh Isaacs of Foursquare Gospel
church will officiate.
   A retired farmer, Mr. Glaser was born in
Derby, Kans., Sept 4, 1879. He was a veteran
of the Spanish-American War. He moved to California
before settling in Albany in 1934.
   Mr. Glaser was a member of the Foursquare
Gospel church and the Phillips Camp No. 4 of
Spanish-American War veterans.
   Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Emma
Swaney Glaser, Albany, and a cousin, Mrs.
T. R. Rodman, Lebanon.
