Deceased crossed the plains to Oregon in 1853, soon after being united in marriage to Benjamin C. WINDOM at Portland, Oregon. To this union four children were born, two having preceded her in death. The remaining children are Mrs. H.E. FINLEY, of Heppner, Oregon, and Alonzo C. WINDOM, of Brownsville, Oregon. Two adopted children also survive her, as follows: W.J. STILWELL, of Pendleton, Oregon, and Mrs. Minnie COSPER, of Seattle, Washington. Her husband died July 5, 1907. Mrs. WINDOM resided in Brownsville for about twenty years. She was well known and highly respected and many friends mourn her demise. Since her husband's death she has made her home with her daughter at Heppner. She joined the M.E. church when a little girl and remained a faithful member all through her life. The remains were brought to Brownsville Wednesday, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. FINLEY, the funeral being held from the M.E. Church on Thursday at 10 o'clock a.m., Rev. M.B. PAROUNAGIAN conducting the service.
