Leroy C. Bennett

ADRIAN-Leroy C. Bennett, 84, Adrian, died Dec. 4, 1993, in an Ontario 
hospital.  Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nyssa’s Lienkaemper Chapel, with 
Rev. John Pickrell officiating.  Private family burial will take place at the 
Roswell Cemetery, Roswell.

He was born Jan. 17, 1909, the son of Abraham and Mabel Carter Bennett in 
Tremonton, Utah.  He moved with his family to Mountain Home in 1915 where he 
lived on a homestead outside Mountain Home.  He moved to Roswell in 1921 and 
then married Esther Hart Nov. 10, 1934, in Roswell.  They moved to the Big Bend 
area in 1938 and he continued to live there until his death.  Leroy and Esther 
celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1984.

He loved to go hunting and fishing. 

Survivors include his wife, Esther of Adrian; two sons, Dwayne Bennett and Alan 
Bennett of Adrian; one sister, May Church of Sacramento, Calif.; seven 
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Kingman Memorial Presbyterian Church or Parma 
Senior Citizens, in care of the Lienkaemper Chapel, P. O. Box 970, Ontario, OR 
97914.
