Mr. Craig was born Oct. 31, 1873, in Tillatoba, Miss. At the age of 10 he came across the plains in an emigrant train from Arkansas to Prairie City. He moved to Ontario from Prairie City in 1903. He resided in Ontario until 1931 when he moved to Vale, where he has since lived. Mr. Craig’s wife, Minnie, died in 1906. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Braniff of Vale, Mrs. Lillie Bailey of Ontario and Mrs. Carl Coder of Harper; a sister, Mrs. Claude Winegar of Conoga Park, Calif.; and eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. from the George C. Beechler funeral home in Ontario with interment in the Valley View cemetery.
