He had been a resident of this community since 1938. Mr. Dickerson was born in Salt Lick, Kentucky, Jan. 13, 1895 and was married to Agnes Richardson at Wessington, South Dakota, June 5, 1927. He was a veteran of World War 1. He is survived by his widow, three sons, William of Ontario, Luther of Sacramento, Calif, in the U. S. Air Force and Roy of South Gate, Kentucky; four daughters, Mrs. Melinda Belta of Ontario, Mrs. Zona Davis of Harper, Mrs. Faye Down of Ontario and Miss Shela Dickerson of Ontario; four sisters, Mrs. Eva Guilfoyl of Ontario, Mrs. Inez Johnson of Ashland, Ken., Mrs. Alice Cox of Middleton, Ohio and Mrs. Alta Johnson of Richmond, Virginia; a brother, Carl Dickerson of Middleton, Ohio and six grandchildren. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Carpenters Union, Local Number 426 and the Disabled American Veterans. Services were conducted Monday at the Beechler Funeral Home with Rev. E. W. Nye officiating. Interment was in Evergreen.
