Foster, 94, Nyssa, who died Sunday in a Nyssa nursing home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Nyssa Cemetery by the Rev. Darwin Secord of the Nyssa United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Nyssa United Methodist Church, under the direction of Lienkaemper Chapel, Nyssa. He was born Feb. 3, 1886 in Mount Vernon, Iowa. He moved with his family to Colorado in 1900. He moved to Nyssa in 1911. He married Ruth H. Childers on May 1, 1912, in Boulder, Colo. She died April 5, 1976, in Ketchikan, Alaska. He had worked as a bee-keeper and was a past president of the Oregon Beekeepers Association. He was a member of the Nyssa United Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Howard of Colusa, Calif., Curtis of Sun Valley, Calif., and Tom of Pocatello; four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Crete) Sager of Nyssa, Mrs. Charles (Grace) Wilson of Lebanon, Ore., Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Torgerson of Hankinson, N. D., and Frances Foster of Islamabad, Pakistan; 19 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Lienkaemper Chapel, Nyssa, Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to Nyssa United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
