Jiroichi Matsumoto Dies at Slope Home

OREGON SLOPE-Oregon Slope resident, Jiroichi Matsumoto, 86, passed away at his 
home on the Slope Tuesday night, May 7.  Mrs. Matsumoto had resided here the 
past 18 years and was a retired farmer.  Mr. Matsumoto was the father of Mrs. 
Tom Murata, who lives on the Slope.  Funeral services were held Friday in 
Ontario with interment at Evergreen cemetery.  Here to attend the funeral were 
his two sons from Detroit, Mich., Harry and Nob Matsumoto.
