Simmons Park Raymond Simmons, 83, died Tuesday in an Ontario nursing home after three year's illness. Mr. Simmons was born January 14, 1885 in Belmont County, Ohio. He was a retired timber man. He moved from South Dakota in 1930 to Ironside, Ore., where he lived until moving to Ontario in 1960. Mr. Simmons married Esma M. Self in Clarkville, Ark., in 1921. Survivors include his wife, Esma, one son, William Simmons, Emmett; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Loften, Amity, Ore.; two brothers, ogle, Chicago, and John of Prineville, Ore.; one sister, Miss Evva Simmons, Cambridge, Ohio; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Bertleson-Lienkaemper Memorial chapel in Ontario. The Rev. Ed McIndoo of the First Christian church will officiate. Interment will follow at Ironside Cemetery at Ironside, Ore.
