Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nyssa's Lienkaemper Chapel with the Rev. Linda Perry of the Nyssa Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Nyssa Cemetery. He was born April 21, 1921, in Nyssa, the son of Barney and Edith Richey Wilson. He was a life-long resident of Nyssa. He graduated from Nyssa High School before attending Oregon State College, Corvallis, graduating in 1947. He served in World War ll in the European Theater. He was a 28 year member of the U. S. Army reserves, 321st Engineer Battalion, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He was past president of the Reserve Officers Association of Idaho, and a life-time member of the Retired Officers Association. Huck was a longtime member of the Nyssa business community, operating Wilson's Market, Inc., from 1948 until his retirement in 1989. Over the course of his career, he operated stores in Nyssa, Weiser, Ontario, Baker and Nampa. He was instrumental in planning Thunderegg Mall in downtown Nyssa. He was a member of the board of directors of Dependable Wholesale, now Associated Foods, Boise division. He married Audrey C. Jones on Nov. 30, 1946, at Highland Park, N. J. He was an avid sportsman in his younger days, enjoying fishing and hunting. He later enjoyed golfing, especially with the Nyssa Men's Golf Association (The Mafia) He is survived by his wife, Audrey, of Nyssa; a daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Brad Maxfield of Hillsboro; a son, Scott, Winnemucca; a grandson, Michael Maxfield, Hillsboro; a sister, June Marie Wyckoff of Wallowa, and two brothers, Phillip Wilson of Weiser and Richard Wilson of Boise. Friends may call from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the Nyssa Lienkaemper Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association in care of Lienkaemper Chapel, P. O.
