The Daily Independent March 21, 1893
The governor today appointed the follwing notaries public; Geo. L.Bickel, John 
L. Milner, S.B. Lithieum, Granville G. Ames, and H.N. Barnhart.

Richard M.Powers, Preston A. Worthington, and William M. Steen were today 
appointed regents for th eboard of Eastern Oregon State Normal School, 
together with Nathan Pierce and Ge. W.ebb, of La Grande, and W.M. Pierce and 
j.H. Raley, of Pendleton.
