The Daily Independent March 24, 1893
Articles were filed in the office of secretary of state, creating the Poevy 
Bros. Glass company. The incorporators are John E.Povey, David L. Povey, 
Geo.W. Povey, and Geo.P. Gray. The capital stock is $20,000 and the principal 
place of business,Portland,Oregon.

The St.Helen's Building Association has for its incorporators John N. Swager, 
A.H. Blakesly, Charles R. Hart, Thos. Cosper and Arthur N. George. The capital 
stock is $1,500 and the principal place of business, St.Helens, Columbia 
county,Oregon.
