Irwin, in Railroad addition, to give a surprise party in honor of George H. Irwin. The following were present: Misses Mary Aitken,Musa Geer, Myrtle Marsh, Adda Irwin, Messrs. E.E. Port, B.B. Barker, F.E. Brown, J.A. Coffey and G. H. Irwin. The entertainment of the evening consisted of pleasant conversation, interrupted only by excellently delivered recitations by Miss Musa Geer and J. A.Coffey, and enlivened by a beautiful repast provided by the hostess. The party broke up at a late hour, pronouncing the "surprise" the event of the season.
