The Daily Independent March 21, 1893
A fine new barn, belonging to Bi Geer, of the Waldo Hills, burned to the 
ground about 8 o'clock this morning. The barn ws built last year, and there 
went with it, a small quantity of hay and some chop. The farm machinery, 
wagons, etc. were saved. No insurance, and no knowledge of hwo it originated.
