He will begin teaching soo. Mr.C.H.Poole. of Newberg, bought one hundred and twenty five feet of land near the opera house, and will erect a store buiding soon. The first sale made by the Polk county land company occurred last eek. Mr.Haley is nwo residing in the house. It was sold to Mr.Coates of Monmouth. Prof.Jollif, the professor of music has resigned his position and will start fro San Fransisco tomorrow. Mrs.Prof. Taylor, a graduate of Mills Seminary, will fill his place.
