Architect Burggraf is in Scio, where he went to compete for the new school 
house which is to be erected.

F.X.Maison, of Brooks, is in this city.

Prof. D. W. Yoder, principal of the Woodburn schools, is in the city.

J.T. Francis, a merchant from Dunbar, Nebraska, is looking over Salem, with a 
view of locating here.

H.P.Lettweiler, the Turner butcher, is in Salem today.

John L. Gentry, of Turner, is visiting the city.
