Allen Simpson, of Silverton,is in town.

County Clerk Egan made a trip to Gervias this morning to visit his brother who 
had been quite sick, but is now improving.

Fred Lockley, the mail carrier is at home sick. He will be around again in  a 
day or two.

Amos Strong has returned from his trip to Southern Oregon. He expected to be 
gone several days longer but was taken sick.

G.J.W.Hill, traveling passenger agent for the Union Pacific, is in the city.
