The Daily Independent March 21, 1893
O.E.F. Lee, of Marquam, is in Salem today.

Rev.F.W.Parker, of Hubbard, is in the city and says that work has commenced on 
the new Congregational church in his place.

J.J.Ryan, of Butteville, has presented the Congregationalists of that place 
with a  lot, and they will soon proceed to erect a church.

Mrs.Judge Cline, of Woodburn, is visiting Mrs. A.N. Gilbert.

Dr.Gwynne left today on the 1:40 train for Eastern Oregon where he will remain 
for a couple weeks. he goes direct to Baker City.

Rev.Robert Whittaker went to Portland this a.m.

G.W. Vedder and D.A. McKee, of McKee station, are in this city.
