Governor Chamberlain today granted a pardon in favor of J.S.McClemmens,who was 
sentenced May 31 to serve 45 days in the Portland Jail and pay a fine of $100 
for disorderly conduct.The reason for the pardon was that the sentence was too 
heavy and that the prisoner is a hard working,honest man.
