The Daily Independent March 22, 1893
The Prineville Review of March 18 reports a shooting affray between a man 
named Hamilton ad one Cross. Hamilton's wife , who is now living seperate from 
him, was the woman in the case, and Hamilton objected to Cross visiting her. 
Cross was shot through the arm. Hamilton was examined on a charge of assault 
with a dangerous weapon and held in bonds of $300 to appear before the next 
grand jury.
