The Daily Statesman April 3, 1893
The general merchandise store beloning to William Hager, at Fairfield, was 
entered by burglars last Saturday and $200 worth of goods stolen. Another 
store belonging to J.T.Egan at Gervais was entered last night and $3.50 taken 
from the cash drawer.
