John Smallmen, app. vs. Petter Powell, resp.; appeal from Linn county; argued 
and submitted; J.K. Weatherford, atty. for app; J.C.Powell, atty. for resp.

On motion of ex- Gov. S.F. Chadwick Lewis C. Garigus was admitted, upon 
certificate from the supremem courts of Washington and Indiana, to practice on 
all the courts of this state.
