Baker Carroll V. Baker, 66, 2940 Lansing Ave. NE, died Sunday of a heart attack while working at a Salem residence. Born in Newberg, he lived in Salem 37 years. He was a retired electrician and founded the AC&E Service Electric Co. Survivors include widow, Wilhelemina; mother, Mary L Baker, Salem; sons, Carroll Rex, Berwyn Heights, Md, Delbert G., Charles V. and Allen L., all of Salem; daughters Carrolyn L. Bright, Salem, Joan Smith, Canby, Shirley Lowtie, Wilsonville, and Betty Larlam, Seattle; brothers Ronald, Albany, Norman and Charles E., both of Salem; sisters Dorothy Graver, Salem, Marjorie Cronn, Seattle, Mary Glynis Bya, Killeen, Tex., Donna Lundburg, Berkeley Heights, N.J., and Nancy Hanson, Florida; 22 grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Restlawn Memory Gardens. The casket will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.; Sunday and 9 to 9:30 a.m. Monday. Arrangements are under direction of Barrick mortuary.
