The Capital Evening Journal January 1,1890
Henry Davy died this morning at the residence ofd his mother, Mrs.A.J.Davy, 
about one  and a half miles east of here. M.Davy has been sick for a long 
time.He was about 38 years old and was once a gaurd at the Oregon 
penitentiary. He will be buried at the Stayton cemetery, where his wife ( 
daughter of old Mr.Thorpe) was buried some years ago.
