Heisler died at a Woodburn hospital Tuesday. She was 64. For the past 27 years, Mrs. Heisler had lived west of Gervais near Wheatland Ferry. She had been born in the hospital for a week. Born in Portland, June 13, 1891, she was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church and its Altar Society. Surviving are her husband, Claude; two sons, Robert of John Day and Leonard of Florence; daughters, Marguerette Hildreth, Portland, Violet Mary Schaffer, Oakridge, Mildred Ann McNulty, Albany; brothners, Fred Sittell, Portland, and Otto Sittell, Seattle; sisters, Lillie Sahli, Salem, and Elsie Snow, Spokane, Wash.; also four grandchildren. Recitation of the rosary will be at the Ringo-Cornwell Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday followed by requiem mass at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Father Austin Johnson will officiate.
