Mrs.E.J.Huffard Dies at Hillsboro
Hbbard,Nov.5-Word was received here Tuesday of the death of Mrs.E.J.Huffard 
who died at her home in Hillsboro at one o'clock that morning.She is the Aunt 
of Russel C.Painter of Hubbard.
Mrs.Huffard is survived by her husband,one daughter,Mrs.Frank Bugbee of 
Portland,one son,George Huffard of Chicago,one granddaughter,Jane Ellen Bugbee 
and her neph,Mr.Painter.George Huffard had reached his mothers bedside several 
days before she passd away.
Funeral services will be held at the Sellwood Crematorium Thursday afternoon 
at 2 o'clock.
Mrs.Bugbee,born in Ohio 62 years ago,is the daughter of Japeth  and Martha 
Rigdon,both deceased.Mrs.Bugbees parents at one time lived east of Salem.
Mrs.Bugbee became the bride of Mr.Bugbee in Ohio at the age of 26 years.She 
was a school teacher in her home state and Mr.Bugbee was a mail clerk in 
Oregon.The honeymoon trip was made to Oregon where the young husband resumed 
his position from which he retired last year after having finished 30 years of 
service.
