Juanita L. Ketterman

 Boise, IDAHO- Juanita L. Ketterman, 94, of Boise, Idaho died friday evening, 
January 20,1989, at the Grand Oaks Nursing Home in Boise.  Mrs. Ketterman was 
born March 5, 1894 in Gates, Oregon to Arthur and Anna Etta (Dike) Smith. She 
was raised and educated near Gates and moved to the Yakima Valley in the 1930's. 
 She had married Ernest John Ketterman in Ellensburg and he preceded her in 
death on March 11, 1966. Mr Ketterman had been employed by Boise Cascade Lumber 
Company from 1934 until 1949. Mrs Ketterman was a homemaker. She moved from 
Yakima to Lewiston, Idaho in 1972 to live with her daughter, Aileen Woodward and 
then in 1983 moved to Boise, Idaho to live with another daughter, Annette 
Asbell.  Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Don (Annette) Asbell of Boise, 
Idaho, Mrs. Bob (Carmelita) Eller of Glendo, Wyoming, Mrs. Bob (Grace) Jensen of 
Seattle, and Mrs. Fred (Aileen) Woodward of Lewiston, Idaho; a stepson, Donald 
Marshall of Port Angeles, WA; numerous grandchildren, and several great-
grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Melvin James 
Taylor, Durward B. Taylor, and Arthur Taylor; by two stepsons; and by three 
step-daughters, Thelma Thompson, Dorothy Root, and Minnie Logan. 
Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday in Terrace Heights 
Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend may meet at the cemetery.
