Chil Killed In Accident
Five Year Old Viola Miller Of Silverton Dies In Hospital
Silverton,November 10-Viola Miller,five year old daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Arhur 
MIller of Silverton died at the Doernbecker hospital in Portland Saturday 
night as a result  of innjuries sustained in an automobi accident earleir in 
the day.
Mr.and Mrs.Miller and their two daughters,Viola and Dorothy were in the car 
when it left the highway on the Base Line Road and turned over,landing against 
some rocks.All of the passengers were injured but the others not so 
seriously.Doroth received a fractured arm and was knocked unconscious.
Mr.and Mrs.Miller came west from Detroit,Michigan early in the fall and had 
been picking hops in the vicinity of Silverton.Recently they had been at Hood 
River working in the apple orchards.
Mrs.Miller is the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Elias Wick who came to Silverton 
from Minnesota months ago.
The body of Viola Miller was brought to Silverton by Larsen and Son who will 
have charge of thefuneral which will be held at the Evangelical Lutheran Free 
church Wednesday afternooon with Rev.E.L.Reusem officiating
