She was 85 years,nine months old,and crossed the plains with her parents,John and Fannie Durbin Martin,in 1845 at the age of six months.In the caravan across the plains with her people wre also the Herrens,the Savags and the Munkers. The body will be shipped here for internment,reaching here Sunday.The funeral will be held early in the week. Mrs.Presely lived for many years in southern Oregon,but spent her later years in Washington with her grandson,Byron Presley. She is survived by three children;Dave of Kapowin,Clarece of Newport, and Mrs.Fannie Ward of Condon: and two sisters,Mrs.Ruth Sayre of Salem and Mrs Melvina Gish of Lost Nation,Iowa;and a large number of other relatives.Among cousins of hers are Frank Durbin,Mrs.Louis Bechtel and Mrs.O.D.Hutten,all of Salem.Mrs.John Farrar is a niece.
